Apparently really dumb. Born a spoiled brat (believe me, for purposes of this blog I am being polite) she has made a concerted effort to try and tear apart Tommy's family. His poor father never even gets to talk to him anymore because she (yes, Tommy is a wimp) is mad at his wife for not giving into her foolish, over the top demands. What sane person or even nice person (has to be someone totally insecure, insane, selfish, immature, rude, emotionally ugly...or just plain brought up wrong) would want to do this? Well if you had met her mom Diane...lets just say the apple does not fall far from the tree.
Well it all started when step mama was told...not asked...that she would be paying for the rehearsal dinner at the wedding scheduled for March 2010. Everything went well until step mama was presented with the guest list. Now when you think of the meaning of "rehearsal dinner", most normal people (but remember...we are not dealing with "normal people, their concept not being something step mama was not familiar with at the time....but has come to understand OH so well) you think that the invite list would consist of the people in the wedding plus immediate family. She did not REALIZE that Danielle's idea and that of her birth mother meant that included wedding party, family, friends of the family, friends of friends, children, children's friends and anyone with an initial that began with an A thru Z. Step mama and daddy unfortunately...and sadly for Danielle and birth mama....are not made of money.
So step mama put the proverbial foot down and told Danielle and birth mama that they could invite whomever they wanted....but the budget was (apparently a measly sum in their eyes) $1000.
OH the crap hit the fan!!!!! The tantrums...the crying..the nashing of teeth!!! Oh could anyone be so heartless as to only give someone $1000 for such an important dinner??? So what if this is the worst recession in 70 years...so what if there are starving children and this could have fed at least 100 for a month...this was DANIELLE's dinner and how could step mama be so cruel??? And birth mama supported this behavior??? As mentioned before..the apple does not fall far from the tree.
Well, turns out birth mama is willing to accept this behavior..(according to Tommy it is just a fact of life)...so the wedding was moved up 7 months because according to Tommy, Danielle could not stand to live with her mother anymore and was only happy when she was was with him. Poor guy...anyone that has been married...or even had a room-mate knows it ain't easy!! I suppose she can redirect her wrath now on him. Well I'm a firm believer one gets what they deserve. Birth mama did...not even a thank-you just like the one step mama got even though she gave the selfish twit the $1000 even after this display of spoiled, selfish behavior and even another $1000 for a honeymoon...Hey it was worth it just to finally pay her OFF and be done with her!!!!
Poor Tommy....he knows not (well he probably does by now) what he does. Poor birth mama...don't count on that one being there when you are old and gray and hoohray for step mama!!! She does not have to buy that twit a Christmas present or lay eyes on that twit ever again!!! But poor dad....he won't be able to spend time with his son UNTIL he either figures out what IT realy is...or grows a pair.
